Naga Ike Higashi – 2,156 kWp – Floating PV panels
This floating solar plant of 2,156 kWp is installed on an irrigation pond, located in Hyogo prefecture, Japan.
The Hydrelio® floating solar system supports 8,624 panels (250W SHARP modules), and covers about 10 % of the water surface (24.73 ha).
For this project, Ciel & Terre® was in charge of Hydrelio® supply, and solar island and anchoring system design. The bottom anchoring was designed to meet a maximum depth of 4.9 m and a level variation of 4.9 m.
The grid connection was effective in November 2016.
