Kato Shi – 2,870 kWp – Float the Solar on Artificial Reservoirs
This floating solar plant of 2,870 kWp is installed on two irrigation ponds, located in Hyogo prefecture, Japan.
The Hydrelio® floating solar system supports 11,256 panels (255W KYOCERA modules), and covers about 59 % of the water surface (5.28 ha).
For this project, Ciel & Terre® was in charge of Hydrelio® supply, and solar island and anchoring system design. The bottom anchoring was designed to meet a maximum depth of 5.7 m and a level variation of 5.7 m.
The grid connection was effective in March 2015.
