SC POND: 607 kWp
Located in Dixon (California, USA), this 607 kWp floating solar plant is installed on an industrial reservoir with an area of 40,684 m² (4 ha).
The platform is equipped with Classic version of Hydrelio® technology and supports 2,208 floating solar panels of 60 cells (275W Jinko Solar standard modules). The total structure covers 15% of the water surface.
For this project, Ciel & Terre supervised the engineering of the floating PV system and the anchorage. Our scope included:
- Supply of our Hydrelio® (made in the US) and design of the floating platform
- Design and supply of the anchoring solution
Anchored at the bottom of the pond, the anchoring solution has been designed to meet a maximum 2.0 m depth while dealing with a 1.4-m water level variation.
Salad Cosmo’s floating solar plant has been operational since October 2018 and generates green electricity to the local grid.
