Site Assesment & Design

We support you throughout the engineering phase and provide you with technical expertise from site assessment to the design of the floating system and the anchoring system. We assist you in the management of your project or that of your client.

Our service includes :

  • Studies and anchoring tests
  • PV plant design, including sizing of the floating platform and the anchoring solution

We let you control the electrical design and the interconnection and commissioning process of the plant, but we can also be consulted for any questions.

EPC experience with floating solar panels

Irrigation pumps used for farming require high usage of electricity on site in East Anglia. Therefore, floating solar was a logical step, as it is a very good marriage between the peak generation of solar and the peak usage of pump. Floating the solar rather using a ground mounted system obviously means you are not using valuable crop growing land. The Hydrelio® system is quite logical in the way it goes together; it is not a complex system to put together at all. With a few people a production line is made and you build it on the shore, make rows and then just put it in, it is very simple.
